N-400 January 2017 Filers

I couldn't make it i was checking  this post every single day, i'm back,  tired of waiting,  i'm expecting to receive a status change by the middle of June  and the Interview Probably will be at the end of July , this means i still need to wait 2 months and 1/2 from now, i never thought the N400 processing time will takes that long, i thought it is the easiest journey, but its in reality the longest one, the total months from when i filled to may be when this process will be finished is approximately 8 to 9 months

I lives in Northern Kentucky about 5 mins from Cincinnati Ohio . Can anybody please tell me when and where will be my oath ceremony or will my status change before i even get a letter for oath ? Its stuck on Interview scheduled even though i got approved by the officer . Please share your thoughts .

I mean i am expecting in next two weeks, but I have been expecting this from atleast a month, but i see people are getting letters nowadays, so I am hopefull, well not hopefull lets say I hope next 2 weeks....i will be worried if I don't get in two weeks now...

Well good luck. I should be getting it in two weeks too. However, since my PD is 01/26 January, I may get my interview letter a month after early January filer gets there interview letter. 

 

I tried to check OK City timeline but there isn't a lot entries to go by.

Hey buddy, i did call them in the begging of last week before i joined this forum and basically they was only be able to tell me the same as USCIS status check page says... No details, no nothing... And they held me for about 15 minutes on a line... 

Worth to call only if you have a special number of the right person i guess...

Idk, if it's true or not, but I read that delays we are experiencing right now caused by long time green card holders... during the other US Presidents they did not care about being US citizens, but when Trump got elected they decided to fill N400 out... If that's the case, I personally think it's unfair... If somebody did not need the US passport for 10-15-20 years, they can easily wait another 1-2-3-4-5... years to obtain it, and peeps who applied on time... like 3-5 years from CG issue date, should be the first priority.... but unfortunately it's not...  USCIS work on cases in order it was received.... while I was waiting of the end of Dec-16 to legally be able to fill out N400.... "long-timers" had advantage to send their papers from November 9th to December 28th....

Trump degraded the value of a green card. But still people who had green cards for over 5 years are to blame. I understand that some people might have financial reason for not applying, but that number should not be high. I would think that processing time after PD of 23 December 2016 would decrease since the fees increased. Guess we will find out very soon.
