N-400 January 2017 Filers

I filed january 28th. Did my biometrics a couple weeks ago and this morning I was put in line for interview and this afternoon it updated to interview scheduled... is that common?

 

didn't even start studying yet, I thought I had plenty of time

Got an email this morning saying my interview has been scheduled. Letter in the mail.

Weakheart how can you say Washington DC processing time are faster than most other offices? On USCIS website it say Washington DC is processing case for March 2016. Thats very slow

My 5 years will be completed April 13, 2017. I had my fingerprint on Feb 21. Now I a just checking everyday for in line status. Does anyone know how long it takes for interview to be schedules after being placed in line.

Yes you are right...i think they update them every couple of months or so...when I checked last time I remember NY and Washington were among the faster ones , they didn't even change march 26 date for this December 31 update, which definitely makes it slower....they did this update i guess in last couple of weeks, should have checked that.... however what i was trying to clarify him was that this peocess of background is handled by fbi so field offices have not much to do with it

It seems to be an occasional case with some random Canadians since you are the second Canadian getting interview scheduled so quickly. There is one quickie Canadian among December filers. 
Although, we don't have anything but your very honest word for it .

First of all, i've been following this board since I first started my immigration journey.  I've always been grateful for the great information I've gotten here.

 

I wouldn't lie about my journey or my timeline.  You assumptions are offensive.

 

My USCIS office is St Albans in Vermont, I can't imagine them being very busy with  naturalisation cases.  I'm assuming thats why it went so quickly.

Yes it is the case... it is the same with some rare exceptions

Thanks for your answer, the reason why i asked because the office looks so small, i don't know where they interview people !!  hopefully we get more interview dates soon.
