I remember seeing @Cybermax comment in another thread about getting an interview letter in Oct, here

I applied for my passport on the 30th of Oct, it came in the mail on the 15th, just waiting on my Nat. certificate to come back in the mail now then I'm all done as soon as I update status with the Social Security Office

Hey Chris, this is exactly what happened to me. On October 13th I sent them an e-request, 3 days later they replied that respond has been sent but I've never received anything... mentioned that to Tier 2 officer, but seems she could not care less... Last week I sent a letter to a congressman to help me found out what exactly going on with the case... Will keep you posted on his respond once received...

Basically, since holidays are coming I put myself on "standby" mode... won't let this situation ruin my New Year celebration...

I've no movement as well... almost 10 months from PD, no news..I've read a news last week that the delays of USCIS N400 is mainly due to the double increase of applications...from around 300K+ last year to 700K+ this year..And that leaves some of us here hanging specially when our name fall in the hit list of similar names in the BC which takes it much longer than the average processing time...I've watched the first 5 numbers above mine in case status and surprisingly a number before mine was scheduled interview 10 days after the first 3 numbers have been scheduled...So slow, very terrible.  And it's the NBC who will schedule it not the local USCIS office as what most filers thought.

 

My case not added here, but you can add me with the following info:

 

Sent: January 23

PD: January 25

FP Notice: Feb. 4

FP Appointment:  Feb. 21

Local Office:  Cleveland, Ohio

Filing Office: NBC

 

I'm having anxiety of this long wait.

Well look at that...  Nothing showing up on-line yet, but just got an email stating that I've now been put in to "Testing and Interview" - ie. in-line as of today...

 

Since this is well beyond the processing times for our local office, I would imagine that the interview will be sooner rather than later, but I guess that remains to be seen still.

No worries - I get it all the time, and it has never really bothered me.  Now if you were to try to guess at my full name based on that nickname, you would probably guess wrong - and some people insist on calling me by that wrong wone; that does get a bit annoying at times... 

 

Thanks!  Let's see how close to a full year this is going to be - sitting at 306 days as of today, and with the long weekend, who knows when I'll even get the letter, and then when the interview is going to happen...  A lot of last minute type of rush things going on in the next few weeks where I am sitting in the old army type mentality of 'hurry up and wait' - ie. I'm waiting on others to get me information that they need back asap, yet they are taking their sweet time in getting it to me...

Just for an update, I talked to Level 2 officer today and told me about the status of my application has no problem otherwise he would send a letter for further info and is "in-line" as of today etc.    So, I can't say for sure if the officer is telling the truth or not until I have the interview letter.
