Congratulations, I am a May Orlando filer and still in line for interview.

Out of interest do you know how often the ceremonies are?

The only link I have doesn't have anything scheduled for the 20th October.

Hi,  I was told by the officer that they do ceremonies at the Orlando field office weekly which would be their regular administrative ceremonies.  The ceremonies on the link you posted look like judicial ceremonies for people who ask for name changes and things like that.  Hope that helps and good luck with your journey.

Hello. I'm a citizen as of this Friday. Woohoo.

Yes, my local office is in Columbus. My oath ceremony happened at my local federal courthouse, I think probably because I did name change with naturalization.

Hi StuckinMn Did you change your field  office? I'm pretty sure yours listed as MN before now OH? I'm still waiting for interview in MN.

Another month has gone by, and I've not heard back any more as to the status of my case - ie. it is still at NBC with no response to my inquiry as to why it is taking so long.  My local field office is processing applications as of March 16, 2017  at this time - just not mine...

Same with me.. my local office recent update processing is March 2017, but I'm still waiting for an interview letter to show up in the mailbox...OMG, this is a huge disappointment when the PD  is by-passed with no interview letter receive...

Paint me red, I had my oath ceremony this morning along with 3420 other applicants

Paint me red also! I was also at the Los Angeles oath ceremony today!  (congrats @DisneyLovers!!) Finally a citizen!! 

 

here is a quick summary of my experience:

 took the metro train and walked two blocks to the convention center for 12:30 pm check-in. We were in West Hall A which was way in the back (felt bad for the ladies in heels). As mentioned long lines to get through security. Then you check in with your letter and green card. Officer will review it and then assign you a table number to pick up your certificate later.  They will ask the same questions as the ones on the back of your oath ceremony notice, all were NO. Trickiest one was "when was your interview?" Umm like a month ago, I blanked on the date, but the officer was nice. Also, they reversed the last one: will you bear arms for the US, the answer is YES.

 

You are then seated and wait for the judge to come and do the oath portion. Then came an official from USCIS who gave more info about what it means to be citizens, recognized the active military members, and congratulated all of us. They played two videos (one with the current President ). The families were dismissed and we all went to preassigned tables to pick up our certificates. Entire ceremony took about 2 hours. I went by myself and had no problems. Best of luck to all!

Best of luck and remain positive that your time will come soon!  Applying for our passports this Saturday, so moving on to that timelines!
