Denver people who applied two months earlier than us got their interviews scheduled 3 months ago, people who applied one month earlier than us got their interviews scheduled 2 months ago.....and I thought I would have mine scheduled in August......
I don't even know what to say about this "system" anymore. I don't think they care about applicants, I don't think they have any respect for those who are waiting to at least know the status of their applications.
All this is so secretive and it is creating a fertile ground for dubious practices. Democracy dies in darkness.

Just received my Oath letter today. The Oath is on Monday (9/11). I hope Irma doesn't try to crash the party.

Uh... scrub that. Irma has indeed foiled my plans to become a US Citizen on Monday. I was just contacted by USCIS Tampa to tell me that they will be closed tomorrow and Monday, and they will reschedule my oath ceremony.

Bummer.

I94

so did we need to return i94 at oath ceremony, it said to return all documents issued by uscis, i took my i94, they even called people after seeing my i94 to return all documents issued by uscis and mentioned i94 too, still I have this in mind, did we need to return it or we may need it again at departure from usa?

As far as I'm aware the 1-94 became obsolete as soon as you got your permanent GC, it's a souvenir now
Now if like me, you still have your 2yr temporary GC (as I never had a ROC interview to return it at) or any other expired EAD/AP cards, you should return that at the oath ceremony along with the current GC

Hello,

shortly after my last post 2-3 weeks ago I received my n400 interview for this upcoming Friday 9/15 am at the Los Angeles office. Excited and nervous. Does anyone know if the LA office will let you swear in that same day or if you have to return for the oath? Any tips appreciated.
