Just for your information...

One of my neighbors was asked for tax returns and he said he did not bring. and then officer said it is ok... ....

So based on that story, I took copies of 5 years of tax returns but the officer did not ask for them.

And my son was asked for selective service registration copy.

When I asked,  I was told that traffic tickets are not needed on application if they are less than $500.

I took a compiled list of all my traffic and parking tickets (Did not include at the time of application) along with copies of tickets and as well as paid information ...

After finishing my interview, I showed and asked again if that form can be included into my application records. I was told that they are minor and need not be worried and not taken.

And for my son, who has a parking ticket at college, copy of paid record was taken.

Hope this helps.....

All the best....weakheart

This is interesting. Why isn't there some consistency with this ticket thing ? Very confusing indeed. So it's hard to really know what put down on the application or bring to interview as you have no idea what you IO may want or say. I guess it's best to just do more vs less?

@ragex this should be of interest to you. And to reiterate, after reading this person's post ,  I truly now don't know if you should list or not list , mention or not mention at interview. Bring documents or not bring. As it all seems up to the IO. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤔

Thanks. it's really confusing. I guess I'm going to answer yes and then provide details about my speeding ticket and take the docs with me to the interview.

I believe, for transparency purposes, better to include traffic/parking records (Citations)  in the application. I think It does not harm. I found that All interview officers for my family are very friendly and clearly explained that we need not worry because they are all minor issues. Based on application wording, I thought that burden of proof should be from my side and that is why I took copies of traffic/parking ticket records. I am glad I asked to take those copies for my application in that recorded interview. I have a very positive experience with immigration officers in my life.

Just received my interview date letter. I have updated the table, but I cannot format it correctly. How do you select "fixed width"? (It is already Courier New 12pt, but it is not fixed width.)
