It might differ per field office. I did a Google Search for "oath schedule San Francisco" and that's when I learned they schedule oath ceremonies months in advance.

Thanks - Washington, DC is unique - it's for those who reside in DC. I live in northern VA and those who live in Northern VA tends to go to different locations (tend to be high schools) except for City of Alexandria residents - they go to federal courthouse (I wish I still live in City of Alexandria - I would have gone to the federal courthouse). When I go to the Oath, I will ask them about the frequency of the ceremonies. I was told that there are about 400 to 600 going to Oakton High School (which I will be going) for the ceremony and actually had Passport person there to answer some questions according to one person who posted on this site a while ago.

I still haven't gotten the letter - will check it today.

I'm surprised they didn't say anything in your letter. But it depends on the location - for example - my oath will be at a high school along 400 to 500 - they suggested us to be there 1 and half hour early because you are required to answer some questions before you can have oath (i.e. arrest, etc). If you are going to a field office, I'm sure they would prefer you to be there an hour before but again I'm not sure.
