I'm just trying figure out some new ideas! For I have sent everything 6 times lol. I guess I will pick up what I sent in April do I need to pay the visa fee again and medicals. And long does ur case take at the nvc now! I appreciate I all the help I can get.

1. You don't pay visa fee again but once you get visa you can choose to pay the fee of i think 200 something in Ghana or once he gets to USA it is recommended that that fee is paid before he comes this helps process his green card but don't worry about that fee until you get the visa the embassy will tell you the steps to paying that.

2. you do have to pay for another medical and police clearance so that is something you can prepare for.

This is true, and also what TrustG said, the fee you have to pay is for the greencard, but it can be paid after he arrives. Also note that the DDS260 tells you that you are applying for both the green card and the social security card. This is not the case, i've not come across anyone who didnt have to separately apply for the card. When we go the greencard we thought we'd be getting the Social Security Card shortly after. We did not and found out we had to apply, so As soon as he gets the greencard go and apply for the social security card as well. they both take only about 2 weeks to get. After you pay his fee, will be about 2 weeks for his greencard to be delivered and it take about 2 weeks after you apply for the social security card to get it.

@Shomefune96 she can even use the Visa in the passport to apply for the social security card, without waiting for the green card, that's what I did with my husband, and his card arrived before his green card, because now everything is electronic,

Yep, that is correct , because that Visa number is the same as the greencard number they will give him i believe.

Each case is unique. Some posted they were not asked any questions. Others were asked 1 question, others 5 so it depends on the individual circumstances. But usually they ask basic questions with straightforward answers. These are some of the common questions ppl were asked for their reaffirmed interview after going through the forum.

Have u been married before

Has ur spouse been married before

How many children do you have.

How many children does your spouse have.

Where does your spouse live /work

How many ppl are living with ur spouse

How long have you been married.

How many times has ur spouse visited you....etc.

As I stated earlier each case is unique and these are some of the probable ones I could gather so you should prepare adequately for the interview. And also be prepared for some random personal questions like

What did you and your spouse talk abt last night.

What does your spouse do u dont like.

What are your plans for your xxx anniversary.

In summary no one can certainly  predict the set of questions you may be asked during the interview but to be on the safer side your hubby needs to be prepared adequately to address any question or concern raised by the CO. I was recently interacting with one person who went for his reaffirmed interview and was approved and he said the Embassy staff now is friendly and professional. He said the Co who interviewed was a male and he was interacting with him as if they have been friends for many years. He even said the CO told him to help him teach people how to organize their papers bcos he said the CO told him he was well organized and he made his work easy for him.

I believe so far so good it is faring well for reaffirmed cases and everyone is getting approved the second time. We have to keep on praying for God to see us all through.

My reaffirmed interview is on this upcoming Tuesday. Remind me in ur prayers. I will give update on my approval on Tuesday cos I know God has already approved all of us.

Thanks you guys for responding. Just preparing him I have to get his interview techniques to flow. I told him he has to let it flow instead of over thinking. But yes I'm praying for all of us we are going to get our spouses here. I'm so glad this thread was created because many don't have a clue!!
