Thank you so much for putting that link up we really appreciate how thorough you are in the information that you give this really helps us with the nerve-wracking waiting and wondering may God bless you and your family and may he always meet your needs only he can repay you for always coming back to see about us that are still waiting even though your spouse is with you now I think I can speak for everyone when we say we do appreciate everyone that continues to be a part of this journey though some have already made it to finish line.

You are absolutely welcome. I had said to myself prior to him even getting his visa that i was going to make sure i stay around for this very reason. Its such a hard process to deal with. Especially when you've been denied and i was so clueless as to what to expect that when i found this site, it really helped me to calm down a bit and understand i wasn't the only one going thru it. Not knowing is the worst thing. And even though we can't give definitive answers it gives you an idea of what you are looking at and that helps a lot.  Thanks for the words of blessings. I'm now able to open my account now on https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ waiting for the embassy to reopen my reaffirmed case on CEAC.state.gov  to enable me schedule my interview date .

Good morning are you using the same number that they gave you or is it a new number that we need I want online to set up my account but it was asking for a receipt number so I don't know if I put the old one in or we going to get a new one also do we have to pay a mrv fee I seen something like that on there please tell me how you set Yours up

If your case is a reaffirmed case, it will asked you to write down the conformation number of form DS 260 only , and you can get that number from your acknowledgement receipt which NVC gave you after paying your visa fees .

No pls no need for you to pay a new fee because it didn't show up on when I was registering my account.

It will only asked you whether your case is under 221g or regular case and if you know your case was reaffirmed case then you have to put a 221g then finished the rest part which is where your passport will be delivered after your interview.

Do we pick up passport from dhl or do they mail them now.

Also I didnt see where it ask for 221g or regular case i have been reaffirm waiting for nvc to get case and send to Ghana should I wait or set up account now

I actually don't know whether you should open an account or not because I was also encouraged to do so by a VJ member.

You asked about the receipt number which you didn't know for you to fill out that part of the account you are creating which I shows to you.

After filling out that part of the DS 260 conformation number, the next part was just written like this:

221g

Regular

That's where you have to chose 221g and continuous to the next chapter .

Pls call the USCIS for your case again , if there is something about your case again they will tell you , but pls let only the petitional call them and asked about the status of your case .

 

It happened to us before after reaffirmed our case, USCIS sent to NVC and NVC sent it back for further review , so it took another four and half months before sending it back to the NVC from the USCIS.
