Yes they do think couples will just give up and seperate which I'm sure some do, but true love conquers all... The uscis all reap the rewards of all the money we spend to get our loved ones here, so they don't care.

Yes MORE VIM

It took us two years nine months for my husband to get approved this Tuesday. It's all about prayers, faith and patient,  sometimes I cried my eyes out,  so I know what u are going through, but keep the faith and be there for each other with encouragement and visit when ever u can. May God answered ur prayers.

That is such a long time and trust me I've already cried my eyes out in this 11 months apart and I'm not even approved from uscis stage yet.

What kills me is they want us to see each other often and spend time but we have to be in America to make the money required to even sponsor our loved ones...

This system is so bad..

Yes this definitely is about patience, faith, encouragement and lots of praying..

So your husband finally approved this week Tuesday?? Omg, congraluations...

Yes thank you,  trust me Monday night was another sleepless night because I don't know what we're going to face though I know reaffirm cases getting approval, but thank God my husband was second to call and he said the co was rather having conversation and sipping tea while talking to him and it last less than ten minutes, so when he called I didn't answer till I saw the wassup saying sweet we got it,  I said hallelujah then I called him lol. It's not easy, really trauma is what they put us through.

Oh I have cried so many tears over the past 2 years. Yes they say spend as much time together but most of us are only given 2 weeks a year and believe me I spend all my vacation time in Ghana with my husband but 2 weeks a year isn't enough for us, we want every day together.

Just make sure to keep all your itinerary and visa stamps, it helps with our reaffirm and at the interview,

I honestly believe that the Ghana Embassy denies 90% of all cases as they are on a power trip. I read all the forums here on vj from couples married to Ghanaians and the pain and suffering they put people through is horrible. I'm just starting out like I said so I will be so grateful to you to give me guidiance once I reach the Embassy stage...Well when my husband reaches that stage as he will be there to interview one day in the future so I will need all the guidance I can do I will know what to do and how to prepare.

God bless you and your family and for winning the fight 🙂🙂

Amen.we're here for each other so don't hesitate.  But my husband said the ppl there now are nice, 2015 was the worse time they sent all the case back and that's why uscis is backlog. Get ombudsman and ur senator office involved that's how I got our case moving, because ours took 12 months so when I came back from Ghana in January this year I started contacting them and less than two months we got our noir.

So LadeanB,

Youve been going through this process along time as well.. Did Ghana Embassy also deny your husband? This is horrible when I read all these forums and seeing all the denials from that Embassy.

This is not easy for me to digest as I know it will be my husband's turn one day and this is really terrifying me.

Thank you so much and yes it's helpful to have others at your back giving support and guidance as this is painful. So for now I'm just waiting to receive my NOA2. I filed in Nov 2016 so I'm in the back logged cases I guess. So if I have questions on the forward process, I will surely come asking you.. You are very kind.. Thank you
