No she doesn't have any package. This is the first letter she received since the case was sent to Ghana.

That is weird. Not sure if maybe they are establishing something new or not. Usually they forward the information to you. They tell you to come by there on a certain date to pick up your package. Inside the package it will include your scheduled interview date as well as the instructions on what you need to do beforehand. Filling out a new DS-260 which is the Immigrant Visa Application is one of them. You've filled it out before but they would require an updated one. So in any case she should go online and go ahead and fill it out since it will have to be done. https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx is the website you can find it. Enter your case number and the application will come up for you. Make sure to print the Barcode sheet. And make copies. If they are creating a new system, maybe once she fills that out, she should get additional instructions. If not, you can speak directly with the embassy to asks questions at IVACCRA@state.gov. Make sure to note your case number in the subject line and in the body of the email.

We had no changes whatsoever from the first time that we filled it out prior, but as a JUST IN CASE, and to give them NO reason to have you coming back, i'd just get the new one because the date you submit it will change to current. Most of the information will still be in there for you once you put your case number in there, just go over it and make sure its all good, then save and print that confirmation page.  You'll also need an updated I--864 Affadavit of Support. You may want to fill that out once you actually have your date, but if you don't have them, get copies of the last 3 years of your tax returns AND the transcripts for them, so you'll already have them. I say that because lately the IRS.gov website has been being flaky and people haven't been able to download their transcripts online. So you have to ask for it to be mailed. Point is the sooner you do it, you know you aren't waiting last minute to get it. You can also be getting ready any new information you have on your relationship, get that all together and send them to her so she will have it all.  And for us, from the time that we got notification that the Embassy received our reaffirmed case, it took 3 months to hear back for an interview. IF this new way of doing this is quicker(which i hope it is) then you may hear earlier, but i'd give it at least 60 days

Well VJ Family: My King's VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!!  Thanks for the support and prayers!!  They asked the following questions:

 -When we met?

- My first visit?

- When did we marry?

- Where do I work?

- How many children do we have?

That was it.  Of course he was there since 6 am, but it was well worth the wait!!  I pray for reaffirmed petitions and that this journey will be over soon for everyone going through this arduous process......Stand in LOVE!  The devil is a liar!

Happy for you.. I'm just going through this process and it appears that the Ghana Embassy denies many for a visa.

Very sad as we are married and they deny way too many..

dmh59,

Are you serious they denied you twice? You applied in 2013? If I may ask why do they keep denying you? When I hear and see how many times Ghana denies visa's to married couples, I'm really worried.. I honesty don't get how they deny married couples but not fiancé' as much.. Their system is really backwards at every where we turn...

No they did not deny us twice - just once.   Yes I first applied in 2013 - that’s how long it’s taken us.   We seem to hit all the delays.   I agree the system is backwards and needs overhauled big time!
