I know someone who also has interview in a couple days.  We got lucky to get the October interview.  My wife was the last person to get interview cause after her they started doing the wait till we call you thing.

So my wife receive this letter from the US embassy in Ghana today.

"We have received your re-affirmed I-130 Petition from the NVC. We are establishing a new online appointment system. Please complete the form DS-260

We will contact you with further guidance once the new system is set up.

We will contact you by phone or email.

Please has anyone receive such letter and how long it took before they contact you.

Did she went for her package or she already had the date?

No she doesn't have any package. This is the first letter she received since the case was sent to Ghana.

Okay I know others too are waiting to be call for about a month now.  They are upgrading their system, so go to ur ceac acct and update your DS 260 if anything has changed since ur last interview and print out the confirmation page and send it to ur wife then wait for their call or email. This is so frustrating.

We were instructed to come and  pick up our packette on August 30th expecting an interview date only to be informed as you were about the new appointment system.  As of today, we have not heard anything.  They instructed us not to get his physical yet.  We obtained the police report and I have updated the DS-260.   I have filled out another affidavit of support which he will take w/him to his interview when we hear something.  I would have thought after a month, their system would be up and running but........................

Come October 12th, I will again email the embassy to inquire on our status.  I will keep everyone posted and ask that you do the same please.
