We are answering the denyal now, prayers  it go in the 16 of sept . The questions so stupid . And the counselor. Priced I became muslim 2 year after marriage but she said I did it for marriage purpose ?? Crazy people. I forgive but I think my memory will be always alert to this people's .

Yes, they do seem to hire ppl that have unique mental issues.  You definitely have to stay alert and attentive, no matter what. That's why it is good for those with a common goal to support each other.  You are not alone. Please stay strong; you and your family will be in my prayers.

@trustGLol, I was doing my best to be diplomatic.  Some ppl don't like to see others happy. But we will be happy regardless of what anyone thinks!!

Last response I posted they said they would contact us when the new system was up and running.  I can't inquire again until October 12th (that will be 30 days).  In the  meantime, it's been 3 weeks tomorrow since hubby picked up his packet.  So we continue to w-a-i-t.....

Hi all,

I was looking at all activity here on vj and came across this area where most of you have husband's in Ghana and looks like going thru hell getting them here. Is it the embassy there that is causing the problem??

I ask as my husband is in Ghana and I petitioned for him last Nov 2016 and still haven't gotten a NOA 2. I see this process is very long and redicilious. Nothing in the service centers are consistent and it looks as if all we can do is pray...

Any advice u can give will be greatly appreciated...

Many things contribute to the cases being delayed, each persons story is similar tho , seems last few years certain officers loved to deney visa for whimsical things. You need to schedule an info pass meeting at your local branch and they can guide you where your case stands or just call the 1800 number but my advice is the info pass .  Good luck

I believe the embassy refuses all cases to begin with - the I-130 cases anyway.   It takes about a year from the time filing to your first interview.  The process is very tedious with long waits.  Next month will be 4 years that we've been married and awaiting his "homecoming" here.  All I can advise you is to have patiences.   Good luck.   You can call for updates to USCIS and once NVC has your case also.
