But for reaffirmed cases, they were still doing the call in..but that will also change to make everything electronic. But they do call people also.

So I was under the impression when u went for ur packet for ur reaffirmed case you get ur interview date right then.  Is that the case or not?  Do they always call u?

let me clarify my comment..

When you pick up your packet, you get the interview date <----- Old procedure

Nothing to pick up, schedule appointment online <----New procedure as reported by K-1 filers only

 

Now, when they tell you that they will call you, they will.

the i894 affidavit of support - do we pay for this?  I know we had to pay first time around.

Is i-864 u already paid for it, so u don't need to pay again. Just go to uscis.gov/forms. Fill it out and print it out, or have ur lawyer assist u filling it out. I hope this explain ur question. Also don't forget to request for your most recent three years tax return transcripts. 2014/2015 &2016. Plus ur w2's or 1099 for each yr.

We did get NOIR in october 2016. Reaffirmed in june this year. Just waiting for uscis to forward to nvc.
