@dmh59 I thought u have heard from them,  I pray u hear from them soon, because ours was reaffirmed may 12th and our case was sent to the embassy June 20th & embassy received it June 29th.  Have u called nvc for confirmation about the date the embassy received ur case.

 No we are still awaiting.   the last time I called NVC they said there was no update at the Embassy.   I received an email on July 25 from the embassy saying they have not received our file.   I cannot ask  for another update until this coming Friday.   Our case always seems to get lost in the shuffle this is been going on for 4 years upcoming.

So sorry to hear that,  I pray they have it and give u interview date soon. This is so frustrating. Keep bothering them, get ur senator involved. It doesn't make any sense that they didn't have it.

Let ur senator's office enquire about ur case, because once the case leaves here ombudsman can't have access to it. So either get ur senator involved or let ur lawyer send the embassy an email. Probably it sitting on somebody's desk, that's a shame how these ppl treat us.

My senators office wrote twice to the Embassy and I never got a response back from them but will try them again.

 

QUESTION to those in Ghana that received there call in letter.   Was this letter sent via email or thru the mail?   If mailed, how did u know?

Some case's from what I read here some beneficials get a call from the embassy, and some case's the petitionals get the letter through the mail, like our own I get the letter through the mail, so u can't really predict what they will do. Just keep checking ur emails and ur mailbox as well. I'm praying for u my sis.

My husband is just worried if it comes in the mail, he has no way of knowing it as he doesn't have a mailbox.   Thank you for the prayers.
