I'm being nosey so what did they deny you for. I'm just trying get something going for my reaffirmation. They gave a second interview the first time then sent us straight to uscis this last time!!

@chris_trina Greetings sister.  I would suggest writing a lengthy account about how you met, how you are living your lives while being apart and/or visits.  An emotional personal statement from you would even help you get some stuff off of your chest.  I started off ranting and then I went back and arranged it more civilly.  If you have a lawyer, don't rely on them to speak up for you; make sure you express yourself in your own words.  The people at the Embassy lie very easily apparently, so you have to defend your love against their unreasonable outlook.  What did the embassy say the first time you had an NOIR?   Of course, gather all the legal documentation, etc and I would suggest getting affidavits from family, friends, coworkers, etc. to acknowledge your relationship.  I even had my ex-husband write an affidavit for my NOIR rebuttal.  I am praying for you and your husband that you stay strong and grow together as you continue your journey.

I agree.  I would bring it just in case they ask for them.  But its not needed.  Its only needed if his kids were migrating also.  And be careful with that because if they find out he has kids in Ghana that can be a red flag.  So I personally wouldnt tell them that he has kids staying in Ghana.

We already puts that on the ds260 and that they'll join him later.

@trustG, so happy to hear about the interview date!!  Getting closer each day!!  Your husband only needs his own birth certificate.  Also, you do not need to pay the $325 fee.  I received an email from the embassy confirming that reaffirmed petitions do not require another fee.   They really need a different form for reaffirmed petitions in order to be clear in what you need.  Each case is so unique.  Congrats everyone for hanging in there for love's sake.

Thanks @Boohene102314 that's true they need to be specific about the form with reaffirmed package 📦 concerning the fee.

Thanks 🙏🏾 @luviscoming1 From the beginning we put them on the I-130 & the ds260 , so they already know and for the children's future.

Lying about having children would be a misrepresentation and incur a ban, on paper or verbally.
Children must be listed in forms and forms are cross checked for consistent data.

Thanks @Ebunoluwa I don't think it's right to lie about not having children if u know u had children,  we put all of them in the documents since we started the process, because we want to bring them over in the future.  Do u think that will be a problem for listing them on the documents? Thanks

I agree u do not want to lie especially since u have the children listed from the beginning and want to eventually bring them over.  Since u did list them, I would still bring the birth certificates in case needed.  Better to have them if needed than to need them and not have them.   Good luck and God bless.

If they are to follow then it will say if you want them to follow so just answer the questions like you intent to do.
I do not have enough insight into your case and forms but if it asks for children then put them on the form.
You can chose to enter if they come with him or follow later.
Bring birth certificates in case they want to see them, always better to bring more than not enough.
If someone denies having children and wants to bring them over later then that will be a problem.

Thanks. That's why we put them on all the documents that required list of children,  because if we didn't how can we petition for them in the future, because on the D's260 we put they'll join later. Because nothing about him having children mentioned in our noir,  only lies the co tells and we were able to response to that with all the evidence we had and the case was reaffirmed. So I don't think it's a problem for telling the true about ur children. Thanks again for your reply.

A lot of people are asked for DNA tests but not everyone. Yes, it would be a problem not being truthful about having children.
