Ohhh 4 months for packet. Then 3 months for interview then another month  bf visa 😕😢 ohhh he won't be here this year as I had hoped    So disheartening

Let's keep praying and hold on to our faith and hope in God, God can change things in any moments, most of the reaffirmed case's I read 📖 here got their packet 4️⃣months after reaffirmed,  hey but who knows God can make ours two months,  we have waited for 12 months just to received noir, so 4️⃣months is around the corner we just have to pray for life, health and strength for ourselves and our spouses in this difficult and stressful time. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

I've written twice to omabudmans and bf they could do anything our case moved both times.   Ok think I contact them too late   Will it help for reaffirmed cases waiting to hear?

I think I would try them but really why so long to hear after reaffirmed? They have online form dmh59

We have been going through the process since early 2015.  It seems they want couples to wait it out until they are married two years.  I guess to make sure we stay together.

Good morning all, I haven't been on here in awhile but I was wondering what was most the NOIR about. The first time I filed for my husband in 2014 I got revoked in 2015 because they said we had a lack of documentation. This time around they denied and sent our case straight back to USCIS. The question were ask by the same CO whom had denied us the first time. This time he quizzed my husband on all of my financial aspects. Of course I didn't think to drill my hubby over the poverty guideline nor over my W-2. But when he was denied this time they didn't send anything on the 221g paper. Therefore I don't know what to gather now so Im just waiting on the NOIR. Our case is back at USCIS it probably will take those 180 days I don't know I haven't even spoke with my congressman this time. Im so done with the process that I just got depressed. Now since reading all the reaffirmed case I am getting excited.  Lord I pray this will work this time. I have they have changed out CO too. I hope they bring all the reaffirmed cases back to the consulate. Cause they are really approving the K1 visas

I think the wait is more like two years now for the packet to be returned, it's 180 days after uscis has it back at which point the packet could been on its way for six months be on it's way 6 months before . We were sent back August 2015, record at nvc Jan 1 2016?then sent back uscis received march 1 2016, we are still awaiting the reaffirmation

@Boohene102314 how are u?  Pls did the embassy responds about the fee enquiry.  Also ours was reaffirmed in may so I guess we should be looking at Oct for our packet because it seems like it takes 4️⃣ months to get it after reaffirmed. 🙌🙌🙌🙌❤

@trustGI am well, how are you?  No i haven't heard anything back yet from the Embassy about the fee.  I am not sure if that is a new fee or not.  We did not pay any fee at the Embassy the first time way back in 2015.  They could have added some fees, other fees have gone up since we have been going through this process.  We shall see....

Most times when you are reaffirmed you pay the visa fee and medicals again and immigrant fee of 165

I asked when the fees went up and they said we pay the difference in what we paid and what the new amount was but who really knows? Be prepared, take your life savings with you! 😜

My case is here at Uscis June 8 so I wait till they send Noir for 180 days. But since I see all of y'all waiting a long time at the embassy. Maybe that is good sign. My is trending the same way it did last time

So sorry for two denials.  Your husband should have been given the choice of the same CO performing the interview.  I have heard of other who had reaffirmed cases and at the time of the interview they were asked if they wanted another CO to handle the interview.  Our NOIR was filled with lies about us meeting through a third party and he said my husband wanted to get out of the country and ultimately that our relationship was not bonafide..  It was a very brief statement. maybe 8 sentences at the most.  USCIS asked us for some more documentation showing 'ties' to each other.  I wrote a 6 page rebuttal and pointed out information regarding how we met based on our FB conversations from our first encounter.  I rpovided paperwork with beneficiary information and joint land ownership.  I included some more affidavits, even one from my ex-husband, which I very much appreciated.  The Embassy is a joke and pretty much denies people for no valid reason other than unnecessary suspicion, prejudice and insensitivity.  I know some people are fraudulent, but why suspect EVERYONE; they go by different rules because they can.  I know how you feel, it is big challenge to be away from your loved one because of one person's poorly evaluated decision.  Stand firm in your love, sister.  You will win!! We all will win!!  The devil is a liar.....

I plan to have the funds ready, just in case.
