Yes I got advice from a lady her whom was reaffirmed. They say we didn't have enough evidence and revoked the case. I sent in like 5 chats per month phone records from 2013 to present. Cards emails affidavits pics from the trips. I'm going back in December they asked my hubby how could I afford to go back and forth so much. I could have beat him in the head cause he couldn't think. Lol so that's where we are now. I still love his big head just wondering should I file again

I also believe they have to b confident at the interview and this plays a big part.  I also believe they don't approve anyone first time around.  Whether u wait on the NOIR or refile again, the wait would b the same.   Y would u file again when you've already filed twice?   Did u hire an attorney at any time to assist you?

You need wait on the reaffirm , don't just refile, you said still waiting noir? I'm a bit confused. I think your correct not many ever go straight through. But wait for reaffirm notice .

So you never knew why they revoked you in your first filing?  I think you got bad advice about refiling.   Do not refile this time - wait to see why they denied you and then send them whatever it is that they require.

@Volta-Region, there does not seem to be any reason why the Embassy's processing is so slow.  I am sure you will hear something soon.  Our reaffirmed petition was returned to the Embassy early June 2017 from what I can tell. I received a letter on July 20th, 2017 dated July 5th, 2017 from the Embassy instructing my husband to pick up his appointment package on ANY Wednesday to schedule an interview for the reaffirmed petition.  It seems that the Embassy mails the letter to an office in the USA and then that office mails it to the Petitioner.  The envelope was postmarked from Washington, DC zip code and the US Embassy in Ghana showed as the return address.  Please continue to check your email also; some people get an email or regular mail.

My husband will be going tomorrow to pick up the appointment instructions.  I will keep you updated on what's next.....Stay encouraged and be positive, everything will work out at the right time!!

Wow that was quick June-July!

My attorney filed one when we were first denied and it did not help.  We had to wait 18 months to get the reason.

@chris_trina For our reaffirmation I sent in a 6 page rebuttal against the Consular officer's comments, paperwork with both our names (beneficiary information, land documents) , affidavits from friends and family, photos, copies of passport stamps, some chat logs. I would not suggest refiling either because it would appear you have two applications in the system. You should wait until they totally close out the current case.  They are very slow at responding.  It took almost a year before we received the NOIR from USCIS.  I pray everything works out for you.

My first petition was revoked so that's why I refiled. So the 2nd petition was filed he failed the interview badly. They asked him questions of my w2 work statement how did I afford to see him so many times. My husband was even interviewed by the same person from the first petition. So I need to get a attorney involved to rebutt this time.

I understand your situation now.  I would suggest writing your own personal statement to send when with your rebuttal.  I outlined our relationship and made statements on every comment from the Consular officer's paragraph of false information.  Just express yourself so they can see your point and view and realize that you are real people, not some names or number on a paper.  I will be praying for you.  Continue to stand in love, this journey will only make you stronger.

Greetings VJ family! Today I received a letter in the mail from the US Embassy in Ghana stating that my husband can come pick up a packet on any Wednesday in order to schedule his interview.

My husband received his interview packet yesterday, July 26th, requesting updated medical and police records, birth certificate, marriage license, etc.; basically the same information. His interview date is October 3rd, 2017. The only new item I noticed was that we have to pay an Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee of $325 the day of the interview.  This fee is for Immediate relatives and family preference applications based on an approved i-130.   We are married over two years This is in addition to the Immigrant Fee of $220 that pays for the sealed packet and 'green card'.
