Well, at least you know the petition is at the Embassy.  They may not process them in order, unfortunately.  You will hear something soon.  Maybe, try to email them again if you haven't done so lately.  I am praying for everyone....

@Volta-Region, there does not seem to be any reason why the Embassy's processing is so slow.  I am sure you will hear something soon.  Our reaffirmed petition was returned to the Embassy early June 2017 from what I can tell. I received a letter on July 20th, 2017 dated July 5th, 2017 from the Embassy instructing my husband to pick up his appointment package on ANY Wednesday to schedule an interview for the reaffirmed petition.  It seems that the Embassy mails the letter to an office in the USA and then that office mails it to the Petitioner.  The envelope was postmarked from Washington, DC zip code and the US Embassy in Ghana showed as the return address.  Please continue to check your email also; some people get an email or regular mail.

My husband will be going tomorrow to pick up the appointment instructions.  I will keep you updated on what's next.....Stay encouraged and be positive, everything will work out at the right time!!

THAT was a quick response to your reaffirmation!!  I just received today a response to my email dated June 29, 2017.  They, of course, said they don't have our case yet from nvc which was sent to them on June 22. ☹️

I personally think they HAVE got to have it by now and it's just sitting on someone's pile on their desk.   I send mail quicker than that and they're the US government!!

and you r correct - it's not on our time it's on Gods time.

My husband picked up his visa today. :P Although, the blue paper says 2 weeks, it's more like 3-4 weeks The website doesn't work for updates. Thankfully, he lives in Accra. We are searching for tickets now. This is the easy part compared to the rest of this 3+ year wahala!

Keep hope alive!

Congrats, I have been following yall for awhile I happy for you guys, hopefully there is a silver lining to everyone story. YAY

I sent over 1700 pages of proof including our WhatsApp conversations, copies of 3 photo album books, airline tickets, FaceTime calls, copies of mail received in both our names, affidavits from friends and family members to name but a few.

The first time I was revoked I sent in everything neatly in a 1 inch binder but that didn't work so I'm going to send everything but the kitchen sink. But the CO really made our case about my finances so I'm just what NOIR gonna be about this time. This is our second time filing.

2nd time filing!  Ohh u poor thing.  I know how u feel.   We married 2013 also and have been waiting all this time.  We were just reaffirmed in May and now awaiting our interview.  I visit Ghana twice a year and hoping the next time I go is to bring my husband home w me.

So you were not reaffirmed the first time and decided to file a 2nd petition?

Yes I got advice from a lady her whom was reaffirmed. They say we didn't have enough evidence and revoked the case. I sent in like 5 chats per month phone records from 2013 to present. Cards emails affidavits pics from the trips. I'm going back in December they asked my hubby how could I afford to go back and forth so much. I could have beat him in the head cause he couldn't think. Lol so that's where we are now. I still love his big head just wondering should I file again
