So if I go online to look at uscis account if it's been refreshed is that like a touch? Cause I go in and out and doesn't refresh the page, just looking for signs of life lol!

Let us all try to update as much as possible so others can get an idea of timeframes, etc.

It is very crazy how long they make people wait.  So much disrespect, but we will get through.

I noticed I have a case update as of July 5, 2017 on the ceac website. Prayerfully that is a good sign to expect to hear something soon.

dmh59 no u don't have to pay 💰 any fee, just login with the case number and the invoice number and it will open up for u and click on the ds260, / visa application and update ur ds260 if u have any changes. And don't forget to print out the confirmation page or there's an option to send it to ur email.

Got it   Thanx.  Updated

No it wasn't about the interview. I had asked about the adjusting my husband's status from cr1 (conditional relative ) to ir1(immediate relative). When you are married for two years or more, the green card offered is for ten years, automatically.

The embassy replied to my email today stating the status would be adjusted when they view the marriage certificate at the interview.  Their comment is very interesting when they have already seen the original marriage certificate and they have a copy of it. What could have possibly changed?? The marriage certificate is the main item for the visa, isn't it? These people must think we are some kind of idiots!!  They treat us so poorly. I pray LOVE  will prevail over all of this evil we have been experiencing.

I said the same thing like we Africans don't know anything, but they are wrong. Most of us know the process more than them that working on the case's. We've been married for two years seven months now and I thought about the same thing, but hubby said we should wait till he get his date, so maybe I will contact my lawyer about adjusting ours too. Let's see what they will say. Thanks for your reply. ❤❤❤❤

TrustG how long did you wait to see an update on the USCIS sight? I check it every day sometimes several times a day and the last change was on Feb 1 2017 when they received our case back from the Embassy.

At the infopass meeting I had, the officer commented we automatically qualify for the ten year one so must be something they look at up front.

Yes, that happens automatically, nothing you have to request or do. However check the card expiration date when receiving it, sometimes they make mistakes that need to be corrected.

Of course because the date of the marriage show's on the certificate so I don't understand why the embassy is saying the status will update when they view the MC mean while they have a copy of it with them, these ppl can really be a pain.

I wondered too about how to go about getting that changed.   Oh they don't even look at the evidence presented.  I'm convinced they deny everyone at first.   It's a shame u have to go thru all this turmoil.  But we all r coming to an end - soon!!
