Congratulations nyala62!!! Safe travels to your wife as she prepares for her journey to the usa!!! :)

Hey trustG! Yes, you must update the ds-260. Go to ceac.state.gov and you will have the option to update it. You have the option to send an email copy to your spouse so they can print it and have it for the next Embassy interview.

You will also need to provide an updated I-184 or I-184ez depending on your situation.

trustG, Yes Boohene is right you need to update your DS-260 IV Application Form ASAP, and new updated Affidavit of Support. When you go to their website you will see it there. Don't worry bother us with your questions, I was always bothering people the same way till it is done.

On expiring soon you just call NBC and tell them it's being looked at by uscis and do at least one time a year so it won't expire? Send email so you have a copy for your records cause we all know copies copies copies don't trust government for anything

Thanks Jenilyn and Awal.  I did call nvc, but the guy told me to wait for the embassy to tell us what they need,  but I refuse and as soon as I hung up with him, I login and I was able to open it up and did the changes and submit it to the embassy, I emailed the confirmation page to my hubby and print it out as well. Already sent him AOS update, ordered our tax transcript yesterday and will mail it to him as soon as I received them. Oh God I can't wait for this stress to be over God willing. 🙌🙌🙌🙌

trustG, you are welcome! Give thanks to all the help and encouragement from everyone. Love will always prevail. The expiring soon message will eventually change to administrative review.

Unfortunately some of the people in these united states government offices, no matter where they are in the world, are very devious. They want to rush you off the phone like as if they don't need to offer the best service.  It is a shame they don't take our lives seriously.  Their ignorance and prejudice slows the process down for no good reason.

love and light to everyone, may we all be with our loved ones soon.

You are right Boohene102314. The first person who answered my call was a female and she was nice enough to tell me that she doesn't have enough explanation for me so she transferred me to a department that handle cases that already received by the embassy, and it was a male who answered, I explain to him what I need and the only answer he could give me was I can't get into our ds260 so we should contact the embassy or wait for them to tell us what they need. lol 😂 I'm not buying that.i listen 👂 to my guts and login only to find out I'll be able to make the changes, I think as soon as the embassy received the reaffirmed the expiring soon message disappeare on ur page, because I didn't see it last night when I sign on. Thank God and may he blessed each and everyone of u.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
