My hubby had his interview yesterday . Our case was re-affirmed after being denied at his interview last year.   First, I was not allowed to attend  his interview  even  though  my attorney  told me I could. The people and security  there  were very rude. We took stacks of documents  to the interview.  My husband  was asked 4 questions.  Then he was approved. I saw at least 3 other couples that were approved also. It's  been 3 years of ongoing  drama. I wish every else well in their journey.

Congratulations so happy for u guys!!!

Yes, that was what I heard or read on this forum and I believed it because my wife took  the same documents to her interview and it was returned to her and kept only the originals and the new evidences.

Ameen ooooo Inshaa Allah she will pick it up. I'm surprise because before applicants pick the passport and the documents at the embassy, but I guess they change things now. God will see us through my brother.

Bi Iznillah. Yes they tried to reduce the pressure and overcrowding at the gate every day. which is not bad. But it takes forever to pick up the passport. Another waiting period, but that is better than all the previous waiting times. Alhamdu Lillah, at least we are at the final stage.

trustG ,My sister don't worry we are all there for each other as a team. About the documents you are referring to, you can print everything related to your marriage to the interview because you can't trust this Embassy so it is better to be prepared than to say sorry. My wife took every paper old and new evidences to them, but they looked at at then returned to her before the interview started. That is my opinion. Good Luck sister. Allah is with us

Are there certain days that certain business is done at the Ghana Embassy ?? Our initial visa interview and our reaffirmed interview were both done on Tuesday. My husband was given a date of Aug. 7th to come back with his updated immigrant visa application printed off for them.  That rescheduled date and time is on a Monday. We are wondering if this different day for his rescheduled appointment means anything different. It took us 2 years from the time of our denial interview date of June 24, 2015 until reaffirmed case interview date of June 13, 2017 to take place. Any ideas about this ??

Hi dmh59 it's been a long time, glad to hear from u. Yes I did call nvc twice yesterday, and both guys confirm that our case has been sent to Accra on the 20th of this month which is last week. Our case was reaffirm on May 12th and NVC received it on June 6th.  Thanks for the information, did u received any letter from nvc?. I think it's better to take whatever evidence u have concerning your marriage, because we are taking both the old documents from 2015 ➕ the new evidence we had,  also I have been to Ghana 2015&2016 and came back Jan this year, so we took a copy of all my tickets intinary and also our travel documents to Dubai twice in 2015&2017, in the response of our noir,  but we're still taking the originals to the interview God willing. Hope we get a date soon. Best of luck.
