trustG , have you received a confirmation letter from NVC? You will receive that letter before they send you file to Accra....Don't worry it's slow but it will happen by the Glory of The Almighty

No I have not received the letter, how long would it take for the nvc to send our file to Accra.

VJ members, I just checked the ceac.state.gov and the status still at AP, so what is the next status going to be after the visa approval?

It will show issue once they issue the visa

May be your file has already left to Accra, but when you contact Accra the will tell you nothing has been received yet. Ours took about 4 months from the NVC notice to the time the Embassy contacted my wife

NO he's only had one interview on Aug 2016. It was sent back due to a 221g and we haven't heard anything yet. We just know it's at USCIS and they haven't contacted us yet.
