What documents do they keep at the interview?

Timeline

During the interview, do they take anything (besides your passport) permanently from you? Or do you only need to show them during the interview?

I-130 submitted: 03/05/2020

I-130 NOA1: 03/10/2020

I-I30 NOA2: 02/03/2021

DQ at NVC: 06/24/2021

Timeline

They will keep all the PSA and NBI documents, along with the I-134 copies of tax return if they ask for it, etc, PLUS any other document you hand to them and they accept.

 

The embassy will keep most everything listed in the embassy instructions letter.

If you have only one copy of your CENOMAR (for CFO) and BC (bring a copy or two to the USA with you) you may want to make copies

Do they take one thing at a time as they ask for it, or do you hand them everything together at the end?
