Case complete!

My case is employment based so no 3 N/As. I called this morning and was told it was still under review. Just called again and CC.

Total waiting time of 11 weeks and 1 day.

Scan date 11/15/16. Supervisor review 1/9/17. Still waiting for 3-n/a. I'm just tired of waiting but what can I do.

There are people who went through EP on this thread.  Do you have any specific questions?  I do highly encourage you to use EP if it's available, as in many cases it's been far faster than mail.

I called NVC tonight and spoke to a very nice rep. I asked her if our case would be delayed or affected in any way because the new signed EO today, since we're in Egypt. She said that we will absolutely not be affected and that our case will continue the process as normal since we're not one of the 7 countries mentioned in the EO. She even told me that I could call on the 9th of February to check my case status for an update on our case if completed or not.

Did she say anything about how the new EO would affect the cases of those who are of the 7 countries? I called in tonight as well, but the rep didn't know and she just said to check their website. ): 

 

im pretty sure the 90 day ban is going to be a permanent ban for most, if not all, of the countries mentioned. I'm going to call my congresswoman's office in Washington to inquire but at this point, I'm done with having any hope because even if the case is approved, we will not be issued a visa. 

 

This is the America people voted for. I hope they (those who did) are happy.

 Waiting for mine? plz keep us informing how Islamabad embassy treats next i hope there is not a long wait for them to schedule interviews
