Congrats to all recently complete case? my petitioner did not send her proof of us status to NVC,pls hope we wont get checklist for it?anybody with any idea about that?

The petitioner only needs to send proof of us status if -

If you completed Form I-864 as a joint sponsor, submit proof that you are a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or Lawful Permanent Resident. You can do this by submitting a photocopy of one of the following documents:

  • Birth certificate showing birth in the United States;
  • U.S. Naturalization Certificate;
  • U.S. passport/passport card;
  • Form I-551 “green card;” or
  • Foreign passport containing Form I-94 with I-551 stamp (if you entered the United States by land) or an electronic Form I-94 record (if you entered the United States by air or sea).  You can request an electronic Form I-94 recordfrom USCIS online.

Well, let me tell you, the stress continues even after CC, ha! :) Feeling anxious that our case hasn't changed to "in transit" yet... I feel like it should've been sent to the consulate by now :girlwerewolf2xn:

Thanks  - when I spoke to the lawyer, he did say that I could sue the government, but, it would cost over $10,000 and even if I won they wouldn't pay my fees and would still take their time to complete the case.. meaning don't bother.  That was the best advice a lawyer could offer. fun!  oh well, I know it will be over soon - just wish it really was FIFO.  Seeing cases complete in 1/3 or less my time with really short relationships really irks me.

Oh boy.  There goes the hope for a magic bullet.  There was a guy dealing with USCIS who filed a mandamus suit and named (at the time) all of the important people... http://forums.immigration.com/threads/“writ-of-mandamus”-suing-uscis-successfully.203719/  .  Hope it gets solved sooner rather than later for both of us, I'm sitting at ~380+ days.

That I believe is the most recent scan date, the most recent supervisor review, to get a CC... congrats!  Though it makes me uneasy about all of those of us with dates well before yours... sigh.
