Hi friends supervisor from NVC just called me, she apologized immediately I pickup the call, for the delay of my case, she then told me my case in currently in the review room and she can assure me that the case would be reviewed asap. She said she doesn't want to pick my file since it's going to alter my turn in the line. But she can assure me that my file is in the review room in a line awaiting review. She said it can even be reviewed tonight. So a little take home. I think when you call NVC request to speak to a supervisor and when they come on the phone or when they call you politely ask then to scan through your file to see if they have everything, so they don't request for a missing document after that long wait. Let's just hope this our journey will end successfully, most importantly with VISAS. My scan date was 11/15/16. Supervisor review 1/9/17.

On my 11th week (scan date: 11/16) and no CC yet. Spoke with a supervisor last week and they said to give them two more weeks.

Really hope it'll come this week so we can get a March interview.

*fingers crossed*

Congrats to everyone who's gotten their CCs!

So I'm still waiting.....482 days into this MFing process........  and today I heard back from the Senator's office with the message I knew I would get. sorry to be the bearer of bad news but for those hoping your Senator can do something..... nope... not the case.

I've contacted Senators

I've contacted Congresswomen

I've contacted Lawyers who said my case is normal and it just takes a long time......

What's the key to getting out of this ......

>Thank you for contacting Senator Brian Schatz regarding the delay in obtaining an immigrant visa for your wife. We received your email and privacy release form.
>Although members of Congress are unable to influence agency determinations or response times, as a courtesy to you our office has submitted an inquiry with the National Visa Center (NVC) and asked for a case >update. We will be back in touch with you when we have information to share.
