The 3rd N/A would be where it say's, 'PAID' under Affidavit of Support fee. Once you see that change from 'PAID' to N/A, the you'll know your case is complete. I have 2 N/A'S already as I have shown in the picture, but the 3rd one for me is still 'PAID' not 'N/A; which means my case is still being 'reviewed'.

Hope this helps.

Scan Date: 19 Dec 2016

3 N/A : 23 JAN 2017

Email Received from NVC.

Anyone knows how long it takes to schedule interview at Islamabad Embassy ?

Good Luck to ALL.

You can know that from you last three numbers on your case number. If there are for example 005 that mean that there are 4 cases to be interviewed ahead of you at your specific embassy.

Good luck

Scan date - Nov 22

Review department - December 30

Three n/a's on the website

Called NVC today and she confirmed that the case was completed on Jan 17th. No interview dates are available in February.

question - I never got an email from NVC as mentioned in some of these post that the case has been completed. The rep told me it's an automatic email. Does anyone know if I will get one?

Best of luck to everyone.

Hi! I doubt that's correct because some explanation points those last 3 digits are number of cases of particular embassy for some current day. So it's about only one day, not how many should be interviewed at all.

2. Write down your case number. It is a series of three letters and 10 numbers with no dashes or spaces. An example NVC case number looks like this: MNL2013524001.

3. Split the figures as follows: LLL NNNN NNN NNN, where "L" is a letter and "N" is a number.

4. Read the three letters from the left. This is the code for the U.S. consulate that has jurisdiction over the visa applicant's location. It is where you will get a visa interview. For example, "MNL" refers to the U.S. consulate in Manila.

5. Read the first four numbers following the letters. In this example it is "2013." This is the year that the NVC received the visa application.

6. Read the next three numbers. This is the day of the year in which the case was received. It is the figure minus 500. For example, "524" means NVC got the package on the 24th day of the year, January 24.

7. Read the last three numbers in the case number. It tells you the order it was assigned to the consulate that day. In this example, it is "001" so it was the first case created for the Manila consulate on Jan. 24, 2013.

Hope this can guide you well,

Best of luck
