I am sure your next. make sure you call them twice a day. I have two cases complete and one still in review department. Even when your case is complete at the end of this month, you will still get an interview date around the same time as for my first two cases. Really, having a case complete on the 10th of this or the last of this month, interview is going to be around the same time because of the way NVC schedules interviews at the embassy as long as your case is complete before the month end.

If the original I-864 has to go in the mail to NVC, do we need to keep a photocopy of the I-864 to bring with us to the embassy alongside our ORIGINAL civil documents?

Its good to have a copy of I-864, however, my beneficiaries are not going to take it to the interview. I don't think it is a must unless your income was really close to the threshold because the embassy would want to know whether circumstances changed for better or worst over the time period since it was submitted to the NVC.

But you sure do need original civils docs.

I believe you have to call NVC since the AOS fee will not change to N/A.  See our friend above (employment-based case) who recently got his case complete.

True that, and mine stayed EXEPMT till today. It changed to N/A - almost 2 weeks post case completion.

9 weeks today! Just got off the phone with an NVC agent. Got a different answer than the usual "it's in the right department". The agent actually pulled up my new birth certificate they received to verify if it was correct and then forwarded it to the supervisor with a note for review. Told me to call back next Monday. Hoping to be complete before 10 weeks.

Hi I just got cc email, can anyone tell me after how many days they will send interview appointment. As I know my country February appointment is full

It really depends on the embassy, but they usually schedule interviews at the end of the month and into first two weeks of the following month.  I am hoping we hear by second week of February.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

Good morning! So I just called them now for an update on my case and the lady (she sounded unsure so I'm gonna have to call back tonight to double check), said that my case was done with the additional processing and has been sent to document review as of 1/20 and is being worked on right now? Anyone have experience with that?

scan date: 11/27

supervisor review: 1/6

forwarses to document review(?): 1/20

Hoping this is a good week for all of us!!

Document Review means that they are analyzing your case with a special team that does document review, which supervisors request them to do.

Ah, so that's what document review means! Any idea on how long they normally take to review documents? Supposedly, our case was sent to document review on 1/20.

Scan date - Nov 22

Review department - December 30

Three n/a's on the website

Called NVC today and she confirmed that the case was completed on Jan 17th. No interview dates are available in February.

question - I never got an email from NVC as mentioned in some of these post that the case has been completed. The rep told me it's an automatic email. Does anyone know if I will get one?

Best of luck to everyone.
