Thanks a lot for the support, i just pray everything is there and i wont get checklist ..

Meaning a checklist for things to take to the interview?  You won't get one for NVC.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

Okay, so obviously I am feeling desperate/a little crazy, so now I'm trying to think of all different possibilities....

For those of you that received your case complete or a checklist, had you all called and confirmed that you were in the "review department"? Or are there any of you that were just told "no news yet, sorry" and then received either a cc or checklist?

Hopefully you will get CC soon within hours or days. You're close :)

On my update call today the lady said that our file has been "sent to the document review department". I tried to ask her if that is something new but she was cagey about it. She is the first person to use that phrase to me. Has anyone heard that? Does it mean anything? (Supervisor review started just 1/10 so I'm not really expecting much). It's so funny how they all use different terminology. Maybe it's just to give us the sense that something is happening.

That is what they also told me every time I called after supervisor review: document review department or review department

Supervisor review December 21

I figured it was nothing special, they just never used that phrase when I was put in supervisor review the first time around (before our checklist for the new birth certificate). As I said I wasn't expecting anything I just called before the Holiday :)

There's still 11 hours left for them to work today :)

My mom will have to go to Bogota as well for her interview. My understanding is that you will need to register your appt online as soon as you get the date, also call right away to schedule the medical exam. I've heard you should go to Bogota 5 days prior to get it all done prior to the interview. When to was your case complete? and when did you get your Interview date? Good luck!

Our case was completed Dec 28th 2016 and we received our interview date Jan 12th 2017.

Yes we called to make appointments for medical exam and because we already scheduled the appointment for the ACS we have to arrive in Bogota February 2nd.

We are doing three applications cr-1 and 2 cr-2

For my wife and 2 daughters.

Thanks for sharing! I have to check and see if my mom would have to get biometrics done. I don't remember seeing that on her list but will double check. I. Can't wait for her to have her interview ? Good luck to you and your wife and kids!

Quick update.......I just received an email from my attorney's office:

" I just got off the phone with the National Visa Center to challenge the checklist that they provided since your wife’s birth certificate and household registration are valid and obtained from the correct authorities. I am currently waiting for a call back from a supervisor. "

Hopefully, my attorney can speak to a supervisor and get my case closed....
