EDIT: Just to be clear, it does not speed up your time at NVC. You still have to wait for your documents to be processed like everyone else.

Just to add:   Once you are on supervisor review, they say it can take up to another 6 weeks for it to be processed. Though I don't think I've seen anyone here who has really had the full 12

Your documents are currently at NVC. NVC will review them all, process them, approve them, and then send them to Juarez. Juarez will contact you directing you to their website and telling you to schedule an interview. You will then pick from a list of available dates. 

 

If you do not have a medical expedite, NVC will review, process, and approve your documents. They will then send them to Juarez. NVC will then contact you and tell you when your interview date is (as in, they schedule it for you). They only communicate with the consulate for two weeks of the month so you need to wait until a slot is available and they schedule them first come, first served.

Married since February 29th 2016 In the Netherlands (Where she is from)

6/12/16 - Preparing to send packet to USCIS

6/27/16 - Sent Package to Chicago lock-box via UPS

7/5/16 - NOA1 Text/Email / sent to Potomac (Hardcopy 7/10/16)

8/3/16 - NOA 2 I-130 Approved! Case sent to NVC! (Hardcopy 8/6/16)

8/19/16 to 9/4/16 - Visited wife for two weeks in NL. =}

9/1/16 - NVC Case and invoice # received. (Email) Finished DS260 and Paid AOS Fee.

9/8/16 - IV Fee Paid!

9/16/16 - DS260 Finished!

9/27/16 - Sent Documents to NVC.

11/21/16 - Called NVC. Case reviewed and accepted on 11/18. Waiting for email/mail.

11/28/16 - Got Email stating we are now waiting for an interview spot!

12/11/16 - Got the interview date! 1/12/17!

1/12/17 - ...ACCEPTED SHE IS NOW WAITING FOR HER PASSPORT IN THE MAIL! =]

1/18/17 - Passport and visa in her hands! We now wait till 2/24 for her to fly to me! (Has to finish work contract)

2/24/17 - She is now here with me! POE was simple,she only took 10 minutes with them checking her visa! "Welcome to America,missus"

3/15/17 - SSN Card Received.

4/10/17 - Greencard Received.

 

Preparing I-751 (ROC)

11/26/18 - I-751 Prepared and mailed out.

11/27/18 - UPS Confirmed Delivery at 10:30AM

12/3/18 - Checks cashed and got Email/Text With Receipt #

01/3/19 - Extension letter received.

Perfect. Now it makes since thank you so much. I was really confused and wasnt sure what he was telling me to do. But this makes it clearer.

No problem! :) If you do end up trying for an expedite, make sure to send lots of supporting documentation as to why you need the request approved. And be sure to address why it is that your spouse must come to you in the US and why you can not simply go to Mexico to be with him.

Omg guys, I can join the group of C.C finally! I'm so excited right now. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I saw the 3 N/A's so I just have to call NVC to confirm.

I just have to pray now that I don't get a checklist, right?

Congratulations!  I don't believe you will get a checklist for NVC to review again; if that was the case your case would not be complete.  You may receive a list of documents to take to the interview.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

 

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Thanks! I hope you hear soon too. This process is for sure very stressful, but I would say they are for sure working the early November cases at this time. Good luck!!
