Ok.   Just spoke with NVC again.  They are saying that my husbands divorce decree form is not what they need - even though it's what uscis needed and we sent a letter form the court saying that it was the official document.

 

I'm waiting for a supervisor to call me back so I can discuss it with them. 

 

Anyone from the UK have this happen to them?  Apparently the registrar office only issues death and birth certificates and divorce documents are issued from the court that handled the divorce and nvc seems to think they should come from the registrar office as well.

Another week with nothing!!  What should be 2-4 weeks per their own web site has been over 8 weeks!!  This is unacceptable......

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Timeline

Today is my  ninth week. I didn't think it was ever going to happen but it did. We don't have an interview date yet. But I'm so happy to be this far. I'm hoping for everyone who has early scanned it's for November will get cc today or Monday. I'm praying for you guys

Just talked to the sweetest rep ever (sounded like a middle-aged gentleman), but he reported that although he would love to give me some glimmer of hope, there is absolutely no movement on my case. They haven't started reviewing it, nothing has changed, we are still stuck. Next week is our 8th week.

Interview Result: Approved!!
Visa Issued: 21-February-2017     Visa issued same day as interview
DHL tracking information received: 22-February-2017     DHL tracking number appeared 28 hours after interview, scheduled for delivery the next day
Visa in hand: 23-Feb-2017
US POE (Minneapolis): 26-Feb-2017

Just finished talking to amanda the supervisor, she told me she put my case on her note for expedited service and that i should hear from them within a week or two ...im already in my 11th week ???..but i hope next week will be the one ..

I hope so...you've been waiting for a very long time.  I am wondering why "expedited service" would be 1-2 weeks...it should be 1-2 days!
