Hello everyone! I just got off the phone with NVC. I spoke to a lady that said that my file is in the review department. She said a request was made for supervisor review on 12/27 (6 weeks ended) but it's not on supervisor review because it is in the review department. Does anyone know what this means?

Maybe they are actually reviewing it.  I hope so.

As mentioned by missileman, I believe it's in line to be reviewed anytime now.  From what I gathered, the supervisor puts it in to the review department to be reviewed.  I spoke to someone at NVC yesterday who explained that it can take 6 weeks from supervisor review (in your case 6 weeks from 12/27) but it rarely ever takes that long.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

I just called back for the second time.  The first time I called the lady was so rude and nasty that we were going back and forth so I asked to speak to the supervisor and she said that they were only going to tell me the same thing.  I told her oh well connect me anyway because what you are telling me is not adding up to what I have been being told this entire week, so connect me please.  im sure she didn't because she came right back and said look would you like a call back and I said no and hung up.. I was aggravated at this point with her...I thought about it and calmed down called back and this sweet lady kindly connected me to a supervisor named Betty and she was so nice and helpful and said she would do what she could do to get my case completed.  I again thanked her and let her know that I understand that they are overloaded, but many of us are at a stand still with this process and we cant make any decisions as to what to do next.. at least that's where I am with it all.. SIGHHHHH

That first woman sounds like the same person who reduced me to tears yesterday morning <_<. Glad you managed to speak to a supervisor eventually.

Finger crossed! I really hope that they can pull themselves together and actually process our cases soon. We've all been waiting for too long, it's not too much to ask of them. This wait is starting to feel like an eternity ?

I sure hope you're right cause I am pysched up right now ? but I learn better than to have high expectations with NVC so I'm praying that by next week I'll get CC! Let's just hope that for all of us who have exceeded our 6 weeks window can have good news from NVC by next week. Thanks for the response guys!

I wish I had gotten her name so that I could report her.   She was very rude but I didn't let tat intimidate me.. if she doesn't want to deal with us well go find something else to do... like clean windows that way she doesn't have to deal with people..

Do you have a copy of your submission? You should contact your senator, explain the situation, and send them all your information so they can make an inquiry on your behalf and make NVC fix their mistake!!

I do.  I'm on hold with NVC again right now.  I'm beyond frustrated.  I was so shocked last night that I didn't know what to even say.  I'm going to demand to speak with a supervisor so that they can look at it while I'm on the phone with them.  We had the same problem with USCIS that they didn't want to accept his divorce decree because they didn't think it was the final absolute one.  We had to get a letter from the court explaining that it was in fact the decree absolute.  I sent the letter to NVC also.

I'm just at the end of my rope here.  I thought we were almost at the end of this process.
