Well now this worries me a bit. I wonder if Egypt will be added to this list?? :(

Well, according to the CATO institute, a bastion of leftist thinking if ever there was one*, the singling out of countries would easily be considered in violation of Federal law:

OMG GUYS!!!!!! Just saw 3 N/As!!! Too late to call NVC but I'm so happy and excited we went thru and probably won't get a checklist! I was so worried about getting one since they had that issue with my address. I'm so thankful with God and everyone in this forum that explained what to ask and talked about their experiences. Hopefully all of us waiting for an interview can get one soon so we can be reunited with our loved ones. I hadn't seen my husband since march 11 2015 and saw him for only 2 weeks for our 1 year wedding anniversary (we'll be 6 years together March 4th). Feels like the rest of the time we have left apart will be nothing compared to what we already waited. I hope for everyone in this forum that your happy day comes soon!!

scan date: Nov 10th

supervisor review: January 6 and 11

(I hope final) review: January 19

CC (based on 3N/As) January 24th!

Yes, I contacted Congresswoman Tulsi and Senator Brian Schatz .  Neither one has contacted me - I contacted Congresswoman Tulsi in October and the Senator just 2 weeks ago but neither one has ever contacted me after completing the privacy form and providing the background of my case.   I think they just know that the Visa process sucks.....

That sucks! My congressman has been really helpful. He assigned the case to one of his aides and she contacts the NVC for me weekly and emails me the information. NVC has a person who is a "congressional liaison" so congressmen are able to get more detailed information much quicker than us.

Hopefully no one here is from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, or Syria

"U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to sign several executive orders on Wednesday restricting immigration from Syria and six other Middle Eastern or African countries, according to several congressional aides and immigration experts briefed on the matter"

oh REALLY. Well I am from Syria originally but I live in Lebanon for the past 6 years. Am not refugee, I am studying theology to become a church pastor, graduated from my BA last June. My wife is originally from Iraq, but she is a US resident "Green Card only". I130 was approved and paid everything, and submitted all the papers. Just waiting for a case complete from NVC

Do you think my case would be included in Trump's new decision if he really sign it today?

Please advice.

If there is a ban it will target refugees, the CR1 visa cannot be touched... i believe :)

How sure are you that Nov scaned dates will receive interveiws for Feb

It really depends on the embassy (for example, Canadian and UK embassies process faster than others); I believe most people who received case complete recently will receive a March interview.
