Hi have submitted a police clearance to NVC. It has six months validity and the one that i submitted in NVC will expire on 08 jan. So before i face the interview i need to get a new one. But dont know when is the right time to take it out. I want to know does it have to have a validity while i reach port of entry in US?

I believe it needs to be valid only at the time of interview.  I know that in some countries, obtaining a police certificate can take up to 2 months, where in other instances it can be 1 week.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

Hi, my case is currently at NVC, i can estimate that my interview would be in april or may. My husband is a software test engineer and he works on a contract basis. And his contract will end in april. So lets say if his contract does not get renewed before my interview, will i face any trouble in the interview?? Please advice. All his current pay stubs are given to NVC

Hi, I lived in the UK for 10 months as a student. I came to my country on March 2015 and i did not go back. I applied for UK police certificate and i received it on (Feb 2016). My question is, do I need to get an updated copy from UK for my F2A visa interview at US embassy in the end of 2017 or can I use my old one that I already have?

I am still In my country and I did not go back to UK.

please ans if anyone know about this. Thanks...

I called them yesterday they said supervisor review is finished, they just need little check up and January, February is full so my interview will be in March. So I am very depressed just today was our anniversary I couldn't even celebrate with my wife. And one more thing Bangladeshi police clearance certificate is valid six months so I have to take a new one for the interview I think for you as well.
