Irs transcript or tax file paper. Last week I had chat with us consulate of Bangladesh in Facebook visa chat, so she told me that before 18th April I didn't need to submit 2016 w2 or tax file paper after April visa officer may be will ask.

I think if we don't get it tomorrow, then it's probably late for March

Did they tell you anything that we had chance to get in March. And how do you know if we don't get it by tomorrow then it will be late

I called them today around 7pm NYC time. The representative was super nice and said they are scheduling interviews for March. But, I'm being realistic. I hope I am wrong.

It's complicated. The answer for most people is no.

However, it's possible but your spouse must have social security number or ITIN.

I think your spouse is expected to come to USA in May or June.

I suggest that you file IRS Form 4868 asking IRS to extend your deadline to October 16, 2017. And when your spouse comes to USA and get SOcial security number, just file joint return.

Thats what plan to do.

(you can ask a CPA for better tax advice)
