I just received my Biometrics appointment for April 12th at 8 Am in Helena MT. My husband leaves for 2 weeks that day out of the Missoula airport at 1:30 PM.

How long does the appointment usually take?

If I change it, will I have to wait a long time for another? is it better to just go anyways?

There was about 50 people in the room (including people waiting with people), when I went to my 11 AM appointment. I was out of there within 30-40 minutes. I think they book a bunch at once and push them all through quickly.

12/14/2006--- Mailed EAD App.

02/09/2005-------Sent in request to Congressional office for assistance with expediting EAD.

02/13/2007 -------- EAD Approved!

02/26/2007 - ------EAD received

Removal of Conditions:

05/12/2009 -- Overnighted application by USPS express mail (VSC).

05/14/2009 -- Green Card expired.

05/23/2009 --- Check cleared bank.

05/26/2009 -- Received NOA (NOA date May 15, 2009, guess they aren't deporting me).

05/29/2009- Biometrics Notice date

06/01/2009- Received Biometrics Letter

06/18/2009 - Biometrics

09/23/2009 - date of decision to approve (letter received), just waiting for card. No online updates whatsoever.

Come in 15 minutes early and get this filled out. Get in line asap and you'll be outta there in less than 1/2 hour. There are alot of people taking the finger prints so things go really quick even though it looks like a long line up.

K1 Journey:

April 13/06 NOA1 from NSC

June 1/06 - Moved to CSC

August 12/06 APPROVED - NOA2!!

August 28/06 Left NVC. . . Vancouver Bound!

September 27/06 Interview APPROVED, with visa in hand

October 29/06 Moving Date

December 30/06 Married!!

AOS Journey:

January 16/07 Sent out AOS, EAD, and AP docs

January 23/07 NOA1's for AOS, EAD and AP

February 13/07 Biometrics in Portland, OR

April 7/07 EAD and AP Received

April 24/07 Interview Scheduled . . . and APPROVED, stamp and all!

May 7/07 Greencard is in my hands!

ROC Journey:

February 17/09 Sent I-751 to CSC

February 18/09 NOA1

March 14/09 Biometrics appt.

April 22/09 Date of Approval!!

June 25/09 Greencard arrives in the mail!

I agree, I though by the number of people there that it would be a long wait, but they had 5 workers doing the prints and it went very quickly.
