We have salad creme in the cupboard because Craig likes it and his mum occasionally sends things over....that said, he rarely uses it anymore as he's found he almost prefers Ranch dressing on salads and sandwiches... :)M.

He doesn't miss having to constantly pull over to let traffic past or the big crowds when shopping....

salad cream is a reason for leaving the UK. That and marmite.
Salad Cream and Marmite a reason to leave the UK? That's a little over the top isn't it? You know you don't have to buy them right? I personally hate Marmite as well, but I exercised my right to simply not purchase or eat it. If food were a reason to leave a country I would have left the USA years ago.

*rollls eyes to the back of my head*

do you think maybe, just maybe I might have been a bit OTT and embellish for the sake of humor? I mean you understand humor right?

I've been eating marmite for longer than I can remember... I'm sure I must have been weaned on it. Heavenly stuff!

And Mags... do you really eat salad cream sandwiches?! With just salad cream in them?! Crazy woman!

Not a fan of salad cream... used to love it when I was a kid, mind you, but certainly won't miss it as I don't think I've had so much of a taste of it in about the last 20 years!

We watched Sexy Beast last night and a line in it made me laugh...

People say, "Don't you miss it, Gal?" I say, "What, England? Nah. F'ing place. It's a dump. Don't make me laugh. Grey, grimy, sooty. What a ###### hole. What a toilet. Everyone(edited) with a long face shuffling about, moaning, all worried. No thanks, not for me".

I can kinda relate with the grey, grimy, long faces, moaning bit of it.

Marmite lover here.. especially on toast and then melted cheese on top. Salad cream sandwiches remind me of when I was a kid!

Rough pate on cold toast with real butter mmmm 5 more weeks of cravings!

10 year Green Card received, Next step is citizenship urgh!
