It's right under where it shows the status of your case: where is says :On February XX, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

The I-551 stamp had the same WAC number on the extension letter. And that WAC shows that my case has moved to a local office. The original WAC shows 'Fees were waived'. I did apply for my N-400 though.

Thanks guys for pointing this out-just checked and mine was received at local office as of today.

 

I recall how using the i-751 receipt number didn’t work before and we could only use the CR189 number on the asc notice.

 

Do you guys think this means we are all going to get called in for interviews?

One of the September 2016 filer said this: 

"I just got off the phone with USCIS asking them about this transfer, and the officer was specific, that, it is to reduce the backlog on CSC. So, hopefully, we are going to see lots of approvals from CSC applicants. Good luck."

Great! Chicago office is already one of the slower field offices. blugger.

If you're referring to I-751, then you can't since on USCIS website, field offices processing the said form is still VSC and CSC. They did not update their website yet.

Mines doesn't show that it went to local office - but the CSC timing shows Sept 22nd 2018.

My bad meant 2017, lol.

 

I checked the WAC number on the finger print appointment and shows my wife's file was sent to the local office.

I wonder how fast they will process the app(s).

Hey man, It's a good news. I wonder what is the status of January and February 2018 applicants? If their case status also says that their case is transferred to local field office then it might be a glitch.

I've popped in the threads but no one has mentioned that their case status has transferred.  I'm a November 2017 filer and got the message mine transferred on 24th February, and I've seen a couple of December 2017 filers say they also got transferred.
