I was joking sweetheart.  :)   I am sure it has nothing to do with anything and we will never know the reason why we are waiting so long.  :(

Hi everyone. Just checking in! It has been nearly 14 months now since I applied for ROC and like most CSC filers here I still haven't heard a thing since biometrics!

Interestingly I applied for Naturalization 6 weeks ago and already have been given an interview date. I could be a citizen by early April, so I can officially forget about ever seeing my 10-year GC!

Hi there, you absolutely did right. This is what I and many CSC applicants would be doing when we are eligible for naturalization. CSC is unprecedently backlogged or processing slower than ever before. Good luck for the rest of your process. Keep us posted on your progress, regards.

What date did you apply on for your Citizen ship? was it online or the traditional method ( the heavy a$$ packet through USPS)?  what state do you reside in?

Thank you :) and good luck :)

Congratulations on your forthcoming interview. Hopefully, you are not far away from the end of this long journey.

02-10-18: Received approval letter dated 02-06-18 (Had N400 biometrics appointment on 02-05-18 coincidentally ...)

Case status wasn't updated to show approval. Called Tier2 on 02-13-18, the card still hadn't been produced.

How long is it taking everyone to received their GC after approval?

Isn’t it true that an N-400 cannot be approved until the I-751 is approved? Hat is what I read on the USCIS website. Of course both applications can be concurrent. Maybe the interview will be a dual one to finish the ROC process and clear the way for the N-400 approval.

I think the schedule refreshes at midnight or late  night.  Keep trying different times to get in.  They would have less of a back log if they allowed walk ins for such crucial services.

I have had good luck trying a few minutes before midnight and sometimes set alarms for about 1 or 2 Am to get a infopass time-slot.

Regarding InfoPass appointments, we've experienced the same problems and have never been able to schedule an appointment. However, my wife just went in first thing in the morning and was able to get a walk-in appointment. It actually worked out better than if she had scheduled an appointment since it's all the same queue. She was able to get her passport stamped until November.

Thank you all for your support with this. I took your advice and just started checking for appointments at all hours of the day (and night, and the early morning, too :P) and finally found the Des Moines office refreshed with appointments when I checked just after noon. We have our appointment in a couple of weeks.

Thank you again.
