Did they change the status to Card was mailed? If they did you have to wait 1 month, after that if you did not receive the card you should  go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that they send your new card to you.

It hasn't changed to card was mailed. It's still on card was ordered for about a month now. It hasn't changed since that was put on December 15. I haven't also received the card.

Well here's an odd one.  We received a Notice for Interview today, despite receiving the approval letter late November.  We still haven't received the physical green card, and was wondering why everyone else has already received theirs.  The letter did say to wait upto 60 days, but that is soon coming up.  I tried calling the 800 number but they would only talk to my wife the applicant and gave me the run around that the department, that can answer the question, phone system is down.

That is an odd one. No card an approval letter and then a letter for interview.  I haven't heard of that before but nothing surprises me.  All you can do unfortunately is ring up the USCIS hotline and ask to speak to a Tier 2 person, if their systems are down then they need to arrange a call back for when they are up, as you need answers before you take time out from your job to go to an interview that you're not sure you should attend.

With the card not arriving though, it looks more and more likely that it will be an interview. I dont know perhaps they sent it and it didnt arrive and got into the wrong hands, setting off alarm bells.  I doubt that as it would have updated to card mailed etc, but then again it might not have as they dont update their systems most of the time.

Please let us know what they say, praying for a good outcome for you both, i.e the card arrives in the mail!   Good luck!

Guys I have a general question. My wife's passport expires soon (est. 4 months) and her 1 year extension letter on Feb 18th, 2018. If we do not get the renewed passport on time or appointment, can we still go in after the extension letter expires and get a stamp? I'm worried if she doesn't she'll be considered illegal.

You can get the stamp on a card if your passport is expired, you will need to take two passport size photographs to the appointment with you. Try for an appointment after midnight or very early in the morning, try every half hour if that is not successful or look for another field office near to you.  The appointments are normally for two weeks in advance.

I will keep trying around those times (I'm basically checking every hour). They said I can get urgent passport in 10 days, depending everything matches in their system.

But the question if I'm past the extension date they can still go ahead and extend it?

You shouldn't have any issue with getting it stamped, as far as legality goes. They know there is a backlog and she should still be considered a legal resident until a decision is made with your application. It's not your fault that they aren't finishing the applications within the year.

You can send your I-75 any time during 90 days before your GreenCard expiration date.

They should receive it in 01/13/2018 or after.

I-485 (AOS)

04/01/2015 Sent Form I-485.

05/06/2015 Scheduled the interview and mailed its notice.

06/16/2015 The 2 years Green Card was mailed to me.

06/05/2018 Received letter in mail, they will do an interview at the same time, date and location of my N-400 interview. "06/21/2018"

06/21/2018 The combo interview (with N-400 interview). But it's still pending until they send me the result of this interview.

06/27/2018 The case was approved, with the N-400 approval.

06/30/2018 Received the approval letter in mail.

Yes if your green card and extension letter both expires you could get the I-551 stamp without any problem. The expiration of your GC and extension letter does not affect the residency. You are a permanent resident until a final decision is made on your case.

Nothing so far, except for the one CSC applicant in our forum, who got their approval last year, Nov I think, they were called in for an interview though.

We should start seeing something for CSC in March 2018.

Hello all !

So I decided to look up my ex husbands (we divorced after 3 years) and seen that his priority date is approaching

(On January 24, 2017, we received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxxx)

I helped him with his paperwork and I do stand by him on the ROC.  What happened to us does not not kill my feelings or my hopes for him and we remain on good terms.  I was wondering since his year is almost up if I should have him call and get his case expediated.  I dont want him to fall out of status, nor have any issues.  When we submitted his papers I included a letter in there stating that even though we (at the time) we going thru a divorce, but that I support the ROC.

Any advice is welcomed.  Thanks
