So if you card says 2/20/17 then the NEW expiration date because of your extension letter is 2/20/18.

ok i got it now..so my card expires this 04/17 so means i have to get stamped before 04/18 right.

 

and another thing, i saw that you applied for the n-400 already, is it ok even we dont have our new gc yet?

Correct i-551 stamp in passport before 4/18.

 

Yes it is fine to apply for N-400 even though I-751 is pending provided you fall in to that 3 year or 5 year rule for application of N-400.

Hi everyone!

Today I had the happiest mail day in, well, 2 years. I got a NOA saying that my conditions were removed and I should get the greencard in the next 60 days!

My N-400 application will be in before the new GC comes but I'm so relieved!

 

To anticipate any possible questions:

- spouse is not military

- sent in the papers on 1/4

- VSC

- Traveled internationally twice since I got the extension letter

- no RFE

 

Please ask anything!

yes you can get your Citizenship before receiving your 10 years green card, you need to make sure to apply for it in the window of 90 days before the 3rd year anniversary of the date of your first green card (2 years GC) ......Et saha wlid bladi, wash rak?

Thank you! I was never able to access this specific process' online tracker. Not sure if I did something wrong or what, but I was just sitting and waiting. It certainly feels great not having to worry for a few months! :)
