Hello everyone!

 My name is Bao, Uscis received my  I 751 case on 1/27/2017, I did the biometrics on 2/24/2017. And still waiting, I just call them this morning and all they said is the California center is processing cases filed in june 2016, so I'll probably wait 6 more months. Is it a normal process time? Because I know a friend who received her 10 years greencard after filing  5 months.

Unfortunately it is, it is taking over a year right now, unless you get an interview   Didn't use to be this way. Not sure when your friend filed or if they received an interview, but a year or so seems to be the normal right now

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

 

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

 

USA citizen as of 25th of July 2018. :)

It seems like it'll take forever,  but for my 2 year greencard I had to wait 9 months.

Same for my wife, luckily it arrived few days before her father passed away and was able to make it overseas to his funeral.

Yes, I agree, that is what I was thinking from day one when we applied, that by August, or September worst case, we would get the approval.

This is absolutely horrible and frustrating.

Now, we are looking at March/April, who knows even May/June 2018.

Yeah, I was planning to have everything done for my trip in December to Brazil. But I am super frustrated with this. Even my AOS(that is probably a bigger application to review) took way less time(9 months)
