Hi everyone,

I just got a letter in my mail today for the i-751 interview. Doesn't provide much information just gives a date and time for the interview and asks me to bring along my spouse, my conditional green card, the letter, ID, proof of bonafide marriage and 2 passport size photographs. Anyone else gotten the same letter??

Congratulations! Awesome news!

I am, however,  completely flummoxed as to how you have jumped a six-month queue. Nevertheless, great news for you - good luck!

Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

Did your status get updated online? I think so far everyone has an incorrect status of fees waived etc etc..

Hi Gaia12! Thank you, will definitely let you know. For some reason I can't view my case status online because when i enter the Receipt Number (Starting with WAC) it tells me that the number doesn't exist :/ I'm not sure if i'm entering it incorrectly

Are you entering the second WAC number,  from the bottom right of your biometrics letter?

Thanks! The second receipt number worked! I have the fee waiver on my application status too, but apparently it's a system glitch? Read a bunch of posts from the November group and everyone seems to have that too

Isn't an interview for a I-751 not necessarily a good thing? Most people don't have an interview. Isn't it only used when they are taking a second look at someone's application?

Yes, thats wha they say. but either way, ZeeQ is lucky to get a call in so early. :)

Yes, apparently you get an interview call if you don't have enough material to prove your bonafide or if you randomly get selected since they have a quota for the number of applications they need to interview. I think mine would be the former since when we went for our AOS interview, my husband was living in Chicago and I was completing my Masters in Texas (hence we weren't technically living together) . Even though we have the same joint accounts etc. we had different addresses, different health insurances etc. And we also got an RFE when we submitted our AOS because we didn't attach the complete tax returns. I have a feeling my interview is because of that but I also feel like we should be okay since we have all supporting documents to prove the relationship now

I have the same exact situation. When we filed for AOS, we lived in different states, got a RFE as well as they needed more proof, tax return, etc.

I however think this is not related to your previous AOS application.

When USCIS views I751 application, they do not consider what was there at the time of AOS interview.

What matters is what is between the AOS interview and now.

Thanks Steve! So difficult to say what triggers these interviews, all we can hope for is the best! Hope you get an interview letter too (only if this is supposed to be a random process ;))
