As per the posts I have seen on other I-751 visajourney blogs, the uscis had a hiring freeze because of which the applications are moving slowly which sucks for all of us. This time of the year last year, we would have had 2-3 months max wait left for CSC Jan filers and a bit more for VSC.

 

Just bad luck, now we will have to wait till end of Dec 2017, unless something changes.

Problem with the letter they send acting as extension, is when we went and got my wifes Drivers License they wouldn't accept it and took another worker to recogonized it and they accepted it. I do not trust that stupid letter when wife is traveling and hence everything is on hold.

Hi All,

 

CSC is currently processing June 9th 2016. I could not believe this initially, thought the usual times for CSC was 8 months. 

Ever since about Mar-Apr 2016, these timelines have changed drastically, now the CSC filers have to wait for about 10 months to 14 months.

 

This is for June 2016 filers, taken from VisaJourney. You can see how it is taking such a long time for them to process applications.

:( Same with VSCs. 

We are looking at 1 year of approval times, our extension letters will expire, we will have to make an infopass appointment to extend our extensions, etc.

Anyways, all we can do is wait and wait.
