Hi, just got my approval letter yesterday. We applied on 1/3/2017. Got NOA 1/7/2017 for me and my daughter. Got both approvals 12/13/2017. Vermont.

Hopefully you'll get yours soon! I filed with VSC so I'm looking at 9 or 10 more months. :blink:

Hi all,

 

My husband started a new job today, (he's an engineer) and his company is trying to determine if he's a US person?  I guess they have never seen the extension letter before and are consulting their attorney, but I wanted to ask here, does anyone know if he's considered  a US person?  He's still a lawful permanent resident, right?  Any help is greatly appreciated!

My friend filed her removal last year May 2016 at VSC..and she told me that she received a letter of approval for the removal of her conditional residence card just today and the date of decision in the letter was April 21, 2017..and says there to wait for 60-90 days to receive the GC..thats a long time waiting..that means thats how long we all have to wait..

Oh my! That means we'll have to wait til December at least! 8 more months! Funny thing is we can apply for Naturalization in January anyways

That i dont know if we can even if we dont have the approval or GC yet..im asking her to try to call the USCIS to know if she can already apply for the Citizenship sonce she already received the approval of her removal coz next month will be her 3rd year since she got her first GC

It seems to be a long, painful wait guys. 

CSC says June 7th 2011, that is 11 months processing time, that is so slow. 

All of us who applied to CSC will have to wait till December at this rate :(

Hi everyone!

 

Long time lurker, first time poster (I think?); also sent my stuff on 1/4, got the NOA on 1/21 and went for Biometrics on 2/6; Vermont Service Center. Still waiting for the big news like everyone else!

 

In other news, my good friend just got naturalized, and he said he applied for citizenship in August 2016, 2 months before his 3 year mark (got the first GC on 10/13), so yeah, most of us as soon as we get the permanent GC can start looking at filing for citizenship! Can't wait to start piling more and more papers again!!! :jest:
