So, did you travel to Mexico on an expired GC + NOA or was your GC still valid? Asking because I'm supposed to travel for a wedding on 3/3 and by GC expires 2/25. Do you guys think the stamp would help if they don't recognize the NOA, I have an InfoPass on Saturday, just in case I need the stamp. Any experiences?

Yeah a little too far for a cab ride.  It will cost you an arm and a leg since you're not from there.  Have fun!  You will love the Grand Palladium.  Very beautiful and they are very attentive.  One suggestion is to tip the workers even though the place tells you not to.  The Jamaican people are paid close to nothing and work their butts off!!  I made in two days here in the states what my husband made in two weeks working 6 days a week!  The hotels treat the employees like ####### and make visitors think they are well compensated.  Simply a lie!!!

Yeah all these big resorts and cruises etc always do that! Will keep your tip in mind though, thanks a lot!

My GC was still valid.

Stamp in the passport should help I think. Worth confirming with the Mexican consulate.

msdynamite - I think we both sent our package at the same time and got the NOA on the same day too. Waiting to get the biometrics letter like you but I do think they'll give us a 7-10 day period between date of letter and actual biometric appt date. Fingers crossed!

I hope you're right. It's always such a hassle. They have the worst timing ever ?

They do! I've been checking my mail literally twice a day to see if the letter came or not! I do think they'e become a bit slow on the biometric scheduling these days :(

It might have been the holiday weekends fault. Let's hope we hear about it soon.
