Hi everyone. Not sure if this happened to other people here but CSC approved me back in June and i received both green card and approval letter. Today it looks like Usps is sending me another letter from uscis and I believe it would be another approval letter since I’m seeing the Torch from lady liberty?

Has this happened to anybody else? Thanks

@sls

@AHLS59

Yes. We got a 2 page letter that is the 18-month extension letter to replace the original 12-month one - lol. Nothing to see here!

Are all of the CSC Jan 2017 filers approved ? or do we still have a few stragglers  ? I'm trying to make sense of where CSC is in terms of case approvals ? I know a lot of Feb/Mar/April 2017 filers have had their cases approved, but they are the ones who have been transferred to other field offices ?

I'm Dec. 2016 filer, no update since May 3rd transfer to NBC. Not sure if it's because of that.

Cases that were transferred have slowed to almost a halt while cases still at CA (cases with the status "Case was received at local office") are being worked on. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong

Did you apply for your citizenship aka N-400 , that is probably why ! They probably are getting ready to schedule your interview

Not necessarily, TSC typically approves cases in around 45 days while nebraska takes longer ( 90-120)

I guess the reason is the timeline is totally depending on N 400 local office, which is slow down a lot according to their offical site. My local office was on Apr. 15 by the end of 2017. After they revamped the site, it went back to Mar. 2017 after half a year is passed.

Yes, I did. And it' been over 6 months, most people got their interview scheduled within 6 months for those who applied for N 400 last year. Looks like unfortunate again, N 400 stalled too.

Yes I’m seeing the same thing ! And I have no way to check my mail since I’m abroad on vacation. The letter shows 2 pages.

if you find out kindly let me know .

thank you

I received a letter with liberty torch, and it is the letter of authorization while I-751 is pending. So it must be the mail you received. Still waiting and pending approval. I received 18 months extension letter. Hope that helps.

I see! I was transferred to Nebraska April 4th, getting close to the 120-day mark (fingers crossed).

IT happened to me. I really got scared but the letter is that they extend my conditional green card LOL

I truly regret applying for the N400, because my office is the Dallas Office and the waiting time is 20.5 months lol.

Its been 18 months with nothing in the I-751.

I need to travel internationally for work and will need to get stamp on my passport again.

It is so frustrating how much we pay for it and we get treated like this

I got the same letter...It's basically extending conditional resident by 18 months from date of expiry on the Conditional Green card...

I already got my new green card. So, the letter is not important
