Based on the timelines from December, January, If the filing is sent to California the fingerprinting is generally, loosely around a month from your date of sending. But I have seen this vary all over the place. I am not sure about Vermont filers though.

But I feel like you should be safe if the trip is in March.... Sending you some good vibes...

 

I was in the same boat with application sent in on the 3rd of January 2017 and a trip scheduled in the first week of February... So I was a bit nervous to be honest.

However, things turned out fine as my Biometrics appointment is tomorrow.

So wishing you the best again.

biometrics letter.

Hello all -- filed on Jan. 10, received NOA on 1-17 from the California service center in Laguna Nigel. Today, our President signed an executive order freezing all hiring and pay raises for federal employees. How will this effect the USCIS? I saw a comment on Reddit earlier regarding expectations to expect further delays...

I received my NOA and the address on it its 2404 instead on 2402. I checked my papers and apparently i wrote the street number wrong. But for my son and husband i wrote it right which it 2402. Because i live in an apartment complex it is the same thing and my letter was delivered to me. Do you guys think it will be a problem since i stated that both my husband live with me but the street number is different? The apartment number and zip code is exactly the same. Really stressing out. What should i do?

OMG that's right.  I heard that today and didn't even think about that.  I sure hope it doesn't slow things down even more.  My center is VT and they are taking forever as it is!!  I get to mail our packet off this Wednesday.

Even if the government shuts down USCIS continues working thanks to the checks we include in our packages. I don't anticipate any delays because of this.
