John, I just called USCIS to ask about my case (since I got only 6 month ext on my I551, and it's already expired). They told me that they were working on the cases received on November 3 2017. So I guess you should actually heard very very soon.

i guess you meant November 3, 2016?

Update from my.uscis.gov:

Quote

June 21, 2018

We are producing your card and will mail it to you

You do not need to do anything at this time

We will mail your Green Card, employment authorization document (EAD), or combo card (EAD and advance parole) to the address you gave us. It may take up to 120 days to deliver your new card.

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

120 days seems long.... at least we have the stamp until then. Was sure we would get RFE or interview because our evidence was somewhat slim.

Hope everyone else hears something soon, too!

Hello All,

I've been lurking in this forum for a long time now and its time I share a very positive update, especially for California filers. :D

Just got an email from USCIS and a Text saying my 'Card has been ordered for production'.

Beyond ecstatic! I was a California filer. I was never transferred to any other office. I never applied for the N400. (I wanted to finish this process first)

Here are my dates:

Package and Application Sent (I-751) 1/9/17

Receipt Notice and 1 year Extension 1/14/17

Biometrics: 1/20/17

Approval: 6/20/17 !!!!

Will happily update when I get the card. For now just want to thank you all for this discussion. It keeps us all rooting for each other. Its a tough process.

Congratulations! I also got an update that our case was approved today! We're actually in pretty similar boats. Applied on 1/10/17 at CSC, no transfers and we didn't file N400 yet. There no were requests for interview of RFE either. Still on my toes until I get the approval letter and card but am very relieved that this is coming to an end soon.

Thanks, and congrats too!! Maybe we'll also get the actual greencard at the same time? :P

Funny thing, I got the approval notice (online) a day after the card production notice. So it actually overwrote the card production notice!

Congrats! I have a question. Do you find out by regularly checking your online account or there was an email or something else that alerted  you?

We signed up on both the egov.uscis.gov and the uscis.dhs.gov sites and added both case numbers from the biometrics letter to receive a text message and e-mail for status updates. We got text messages for both updates (card production and approval), as well as an e-mail about the approval.

Was also manually checking for updates, but the text messages helped.

Good Morning!

I woke up to three text messages from USCIS. I have been approved!!! No RFE or Interview.

My timeline is below:

Applied: Jan 23, 2017 (Divorce Waiver)

Transferred to NBC: May 7, 2018

Approved and Card Production: June 27, 2018

I would like to ask for the ones that have received their green cards - how long did it take for your green card to come in after the approval? Also, with the changes in mailing the green card, do they require the signature when they deliver it? Or are they still leaving it in the mailbox? I ask because I am travelling next Tuesday for 2 weeks and kind of nervous about missing the green card.

Good luck to all those who are still waiting - it is on its way, I promise!!
